Archbishop Rummel High School, Ed’s beloved wife Robin, and Rummel Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee Ken Trahan '75 are leading an initiative to honor the life and legacy of Ed Daniels by establishing a scholarship in his name. This scholarship fund will support future generations of students at Archbishop Rummel, continuing Ed’s lifelong dedication to education, sports, and community service.

 

Ed Daniels was more than a sports icon. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man of deep faith. Over the course of his remarkable career, Ed touched countless lives through his work in sports media, his involvement in the community, and his unwavering friendship. As a proud Class of 1975 Rummel Alumnus, Ed's passion for supporting young people and their futures was a cornerstone of his life.

 

Ed’s legacy extends far beyond his professional accomplishments. He was a man who understood that life’s struggles are real, but faith, family, and friends are the foundation that carries us through.
